The Absolute Worst Fans In The World...WE ARE!

The real victims...
It's been a banner week for the old HOT SPROTS TAEK here between the Ray Rice video, LOL Big Ten, LOL Urban Meyer, LOL Hokester, and Roger Goodell being a liar but one of the more under-the-radar stories took place in Happy Valley.  After serving two years of a four year bowl ban, Penn State was granted a reprieve and the remaining two years have been erased.  The Nittany Lions are immediately eligible for a bowl appearance.

As is customary in State College, fans and students flooded wherever they flood to to celebrate such great news.  They hooted and hollered.  They did their Zombie Nation thing.  They screamed WE ARE.  They even started demanding that the Joe Paterno statue be restored.  FUCK.  THAT.  Fuck all of you people.  You are the scum of the Earf and I am rooting for the worst things in the world to happen to all of you.  You deserve it all and more.  If you are one to believe in Hell, then all of you will find your way there when you hopefully die soon.

Let me explain why this is absolutely wrong at all levels:

1. Penn State was punished as an institution for their role in allowing a know pedophile to inflict all sorts of abuse on children for TWO DECADES.  Important people knew about this.  Important people, WHO COULD HAVE STOPPED THIS, did not.  This is the definition of "extreme lack of institutional control".  It was a penalty for the school for doing nothing about everything.  Many people were calling for the program to be shut down and it would not have been unthinkable for that to happen.  Instead, they got a four year bowl ban, monster legal bills, settlements, a dead coach, and some scholarship reductions.  They should feel lucky.

2. The guy that relieved the bowl ban said that it was no longer right to punish those that had nothing to do with Sandusky.  God dammit, THAT ISN'T THE POINT.  Every single player had the right to leave the school and go somewhere else with no penalty.  Some left but many stayed and they KNEW what they were in for.  The players aren't the fucking victims here and they never were.  They were given a "get out of the shower" free card.  If they did not take it, then fuck them.  Why should ANYONE feel sympathy for those that stayed???

3. The Joe Paterno worship should infuriate everyone forever.  Fuck these losers with an old man's liver-spotted dick.  Get the fuck over it.  By making Penn State bowl eligible, you are giving the worst fanbase in the world an excuse to go on vacation.  Good fucking job, Senator Mitchell.  You are rewarding people whose only reward should be a public caning.  You aren't giving the players a pat on the back and a "job well done".  You are giving Paterno Supporters a reason to party.

I like James Franklin and I think that he is a really good coach (Vandy rapes aside) but I will spend the rest of my days hoping that his new program never wins another game.  These boosters and supporters and students and alumni are sub-human garbage and they have earned nothing but heartbreak and depression.  WE ARE!  FUCKING EVIL!

Let's close on some gambling advice...I don't see any chance in Hell that the Redskins cover the -6 against Jacksonville on Sunday.  If we win at all, it will be some sort of fluke.

As far as buttering your bread, we are moving the MAC Glory Hole of the Week (1-1!) up one night for a special Friday night winner!  We are going to double down on the shittiness of Toledo.  TONIGHT, I love Cincinnati laying 11 10! points in their season opener(!) at home versus the Rockets.  Toledo QB Whatever Ely tore his ACL last week and the back-up was pretty bad.  Matt Campbell has horse teeth, sort of sucks as a head coach, and is from the goddamn Tim Beckman coaching tree.  Tonight, we FINALLY get to see what all the hubbub is about regarding QB Gunner Kiel who is FINALLY not transferring somewhere and will start for the Bearcats.  Cincy rolls by at least three scores in a tune-up before they embarrass Urban Meyer.

What a week!  Let's hope that next week is as equally ELITE.  And let's all root for our RedHawks to beat The Hokester tomorrow!

I don't understand the motivation to remove the sanctions. It was already done, everybody knew about it, the program hasn't really suffered because of it, so why throw them this bone?

Yeah, I put my bet down on Cincy on Tuesday and bought the line down a point to -9.5. Toledo is going to get rolled. Also on the Jags but I haven't bet it yet. Hoping by some miracle people will bet the line up to 7.

The worst fans are the women in Baltimore wearing #27 jerseys.

And the worst team is everyone in black and gold. Ooof.

Yea so did Penn State get a "parole" hearing? Do they feel that bad for the B1G and hope this returns Penn State to a power?

I just don't get it at all. They are basically saying "job well done on not covering up any child molestation these last two years!"

The women in the Ray Rice jerseys were almost as pathetic as the Steelers.

I started saying years ago that PSU had the worst fans in college football (do not have a link for this...sorry)...then the Paterno thing happened and it completely validated those claims. They just keep doing more and more to confirm this. They are the definition of mouth breathers. If you went to their message boards (I know...I know) before the sanctions were reduced their priorities were still...

1.) Get JoePa's wins restored
2.) Get JoePa statue back

3.) Get scholarships and bowl games back

# 3 was wayyyyyyyyy down the list in importance.

I realize college kids are dumb...but, you'd think these kids...who don't have as much invested in JoePa would see him for what he truly is...but, nope. They get their bowl games and scholarships and they decide to rally on campus and chant his fucking name.

Fuck Penn State. YOU ARE...Retards.

I just got UC -10 so that will be your official Glory Hole number for this week. DEAL WITH IT.

Don't try to figure out why PSU got everything back so quickly. It will just make your head hurt and confuse you. Emmert is as shitty at his job as Goodell is.

Redskin fans shouldn't be calling anyone else "pathetic".

Actually, they should. We know pathetic when we see it. That DL of yours is egg fart rotten. Those three wastes might as well have been LBs considering they were pused five yards back every time the ball was snapped.

Grumpy is just mad because Joe Flacco proved his ELITEness last night.

PSU is indeed very, very, very stupid. Fans hang on to the legend of Joe Paterno like he's a deity. Albeit, a deity that is harder to understand than Bob Dylan explaining quantum physics.

I can't believe these people and there is a parallel between PSU fans and Ray Rice supporters, although, last I checked none of the boys that Sandusky molested ended up marrying him.

Schefter saying that Josh Gordon's suspension to be reduced to 8 games. Soooooo important for fantasy purposes but waiting until week 10 for your stud receiver is going to be a long ass wait.

Speaking of rape, how about these Ron Washington rumors!!! Crack cocaine is a helluva drug.

Tyrone Biggums never disappoints.

I don't know if ya know this about me, Joe Rogan, but I smoke the rock!

I'm with Grump... Ravens fans should now be strongly considered for worst fans of all-time after the amount of support for a woman beater last night. I would have expected that from Steelers fans (as they fully support rapists), but now there is another team in the AFC north that make take the "worst fans in football" crown.

Stupid fucking people - especially the women.

I'll need documentation of this. If you can't provide it I'll assume it never happened.

I guess I got what I deserved by relying on Steelers players in fantasy football last night. Lesson learned. Shit bags let a team distracted by supporting a woman beater fucking roll them. No wonder the Browns almost beat these losers.

I'm conflicted on the Penn St. issue. Those in the administration that knew and did nothing should be prosecuted. The kids playing now had nothing to do with it so why should they be punished?

I understand you want to punish the institution for their misdeeds, and I get that, but to continue punishing the players seems like overkill.

Prime99 said...

Grump, the freshmen and sophomores that went to PSU knowing about the punishment are dumb and choose to go anyway. The juniors and seniors stayed despite the punishment. Are any of them really victims or are they still supporting an institution that covered up child rape for decades by playing there?

No legs going to get some jail time nw it looks like.

Just like Prime said, Grumpy. These kids had the chance to transfer sans penalty when everything happened. The kids that agreed to go to PSU after knew what they were agreeing to. I didnt feel bad for them at all and lifting this ban sets a poor example.

Prime99 said...

If you're good enough to play for PSU, then you're probably good enough to go to 30 other high profile schools. If you're maybe reaching and on a slightly lower talent level, then you could choose to go to a MAC school or Michigan or something. No need to go to PSU.

GMoney said...

See: Silas Redd.

The players knew their options and stayed. The staff knew what they were getting into. The school knew that they had to make this right.

The ONLY people who are being rewarded by this decision are the knuckle-dragging mouth-breathing shit for brains fans.

Current Money Shot Man of the Year Rob Ford is not running for mayor of Toronto again. SONOFABITCH!

Grumpy said...

Prime & Iceman, then why not just give Penn St. the death penalty if you're going to punish all future players for choosing to play there?

Prime99 said...

C'mon Grump- don't act like Drooler and put words in my mouth.

PSU was handed a four year punishment. The current players at the time could've left. Recruits could've gone elsewhere. They didn't. They can accept the punishment handed down just as they accepted going to school there.

If a recruit in two more years (or now, I guess) committed to PSU, got there, and THEN the punishment was extended without new issues, then they would be a victim.

Kids can easily choose to not go to PSU. That is the point. Sanctions for misdeeds on a systemic level should be upheld to hopefully not let a widespread problem happen again. Maybe next time, people in charge at PSU (or elsewhere) would do the right thing.

Putting words in your mouth > old man sticking his penis in your butt

At least it is IMO
