Trent Richardson Is Playing Great

LOL FRAUD LOL!!!
At least that is what he thinks.  Unfortunately, I didn't have a ton of time to produce my usual great stuff today so we're going back to the well that is quickly running dry...the less than stellar play of the former #3 pick.  As we already know, Trent Richardson was traded from the Colts to the Browns for a 1st round pick.  Since that deal, he has done very little for Indy.  So little, that you might say he has done "Greg Little" to help his new team.  Thus, the Browns and their moron fans think that they won the trade.  By how much did they win the deal?  I don't know but my guess is it's close to 2.8 yards.

We already know all of this though.  If you read the comments here (not recommended), then OMG has this been debated ad nauseum (Latin BRAH!).  But this week, it seems like the local media is finally straight up asking T-Rich, "Bro, why you so bad?"  His response was interesting to say the least.

"I'm not frustrated at all because I think I've been playing good," Richardson said, according to The Indianapolis Star. "If you turn on the film, I don't have any missed assignments. I haven't had any missed reads. I've been playing good. Stuff just hasn't matched up like we thought it would when I'm in there. I think teams match up differently when I come in."

"If I don't have big runs because they're trying to stop the run, then I feel like I'm doing my job."

LOL!  Someone photoshop a pic of Richardson in front of that GW Bush "Mission Accomplished" banner.  And you haven't been playing good, Trent, you've been playing well.  Also: you are not playing well.  I don't know--maybe that isn't correct grammar.  I did not have the opportunity to go to Alabama for my book-learnin'.

Basically, I just wanted to point out that for all the shit said about this trade over the past few weeks and how we don't want to admit that the Browns know what they're doing, just know that the likely bust that was dealt sees no fault in his play.  And that is really amusing to me.  COLTS WON THE DEAL!!!

But I'm not going to slam Trent Richardson for his weird self-confidence and optimism. In fact, I want to give him DAP.  I can't believe none of you have mentioned yet that apparently there is a T-Rich sex tape out there somewhere in which he is slamming 3-4 broads who OBVZ have a lot of pride and love their fathers.  What T-Rich lacks in on-field productivity, he makes up for in recorded orgies.  I'm not going to lie...this is intriguing (no homo).  I would watch the shit out of this and so would you.  ADMIT IT!

In conclusion, if this whole football thing doesn't work out, at least Trent Richardson may have a future acting in Dogfart scenes. Again, sorry for the brief post where I keep beating a dead horse but you know how this works by now.  Just comment about whatever you want to discuss.

College Basketball day!

MSU looks to be the best in the nation right now. Burke and I have talked a few times on this, and I think that they will handily win the B1G. He seems to think that OSU will be competitive with them.

That ELITE defensive stand we made against Marquette at home was really great to watch. I missed most of the second half of the IlliNOISE game to watch it. The best part about OSU completely making Chicago their bitch (fuck Chicago, I said it) was that God wasn't done and raped them with tornadoes. YOUR PIZZA SUCKS CHICAGO, NOW FEEL THE WRATH.

Wiggins, Parker, Smart, and Randle; who ya got? Smart went apeshit for 39 last night in a stupid performance, but if I'm drafting, I'm going Parker. That guy is just monstrous. I think Wiggins is teetering on the OVERRATED line right now, and I don't see him being the top pick.

I really like Smart, but OSU is not playing him a boatload of minutes, except last night, so I am withholding judgment on him. Randle is a Seal guy.

Get fucked, Seal.

It did not take long for UNC, WE ON and Florida to shit the bed. The clip of McAdoo bricking the free throw as that guy sang Miley Cyrus was hilarious. Anytime you can get that kind of volume in the Dean, YOU DO IT.

WE ON losing to ISU is great. As much shit as you wanted to pile on us this year, dropping to them before Jabari sticks his big black beast in Canucks mouth is a good time. Remember, you guys are bad, and should not be ranked at all. Just you wait until McLOLry comes back, then it will be even more fun.

If nothing else, I do create great tag lines.

I've made this condition of surrender to the likes of fans like Cakes. Because Richardson has been butts so far. Two things need to happen before I'll say the Browns TOTES fleeced the Colts.

First, TRich needs the benefit of a full training camp and time to learn the playbook. I understand that Don Brown Hind Parts has been running at a much better clip than Richardson has. But Brown has also been on that team for the duration of his career and knows the playbook. He wasn't shoved in week 3 and told, "Let er rip. You're the starter. Oh...and memorize these 200 pages in the next 4 days too.".

Second, we HAVE to see what the Browns do with this pick. If they draft a guy who isn't in the NFL in 4 years and Richardson plugs along for 10 seasons at 3 yards a carry...you can't say the Browns won that trade no matter how average Richardson ends up being.

Jeff said...

The great start to the CBJ road trip sure did come to a screeching halt. Losing by a touchdown in hockey is never good.

Mr. Ace said...

Ide. McGary played at ISU. Stop acting like you know college hoops.

So we have to wait 5 years to figure out if the Browns won that trade? Sounds dumb.

The Iceman said...

LOL at Michigan shouldn't be ranked because they lost to ISU. Sure...we should have won that game. But we lost 2 crucial starters from last year's team and another (preseason all american) had been sitting out hurt until that game. it's gonna take a little time to gel with so many new pieces. We'll still finish higher than Ohio in the Big 10 and still make a deep tourney run. Settle down, hoss.

I will watch T-Rich porn with Jeff. Better than watching (Fuck You) Cakes jerking off on his new Ohio alternate jersey.

The Iceman said...

"So we have to wait 5 years to figure out if the Browns won that trade? Sounds dumb"

We only have to wait one year if Richardson has a bounce back season after getting an entire year to learn the playbook.

WHITE PANTS! WHITE PANTS! WHITE PANTS! Cakes is the worst. Don't worry about him though, he's contributing to this site next week!

Since when is losing a close game to Iowa State a bad thing? That's a good program run by Fredrick Hoiberg that was one miracle homo three away from sending you home last March. Instead, you waited to get hilariously crushed by some team from a wheat field.

I'm confused. Ohio made Chicago their bitch by beating a football team three hours south of the city and a basketball team in Milwaukee? Get AIDS.

That basketball game though was a real Charlie Coles Special what with no one scoring ever.

Jeff, thanks for bringing up the CBJ. 7-0 loss to the worst team in the league and a goalie averaging 3.5 goals allowed per game! Talk about a mail in. Between that poopfest and the Redhawks dropping to 0-11, last night was amazing.

On the other hand, Sons of Anarchy was intense. Get fucked, Clay and that Irish prick. Still need to kill Gemma though. She is the worst.

Wow, that was my bad. I just went back and reread the day after the Craft buzzer beater, and no one talked shit about us playing them. Whoops. However, I did just relive the RibFest 2 recaps. Fun times, there.

Oh well. Iceman, OSU will finish ahead of UM this year. Book that shit. If RibFest 3 is around the same time as it was last year (first March Madness weekend) then I'll put ribs on it.

A T-Rich post and I get no love for being the guy here on T-Rich trade day, that told all of you that he was a bum???? Remember where you heard it first....from Drooler.

I don't know what the fuck Ide was talking about with Chicago either.

Definitely a very good Buckeye win over Marquette tho...snapped the longest home court winning streak in the nation.

Iceman...I'm lovin' me some Loving. He played the third most minutes in that game and its' very hard to get minutes as a true frosh under Thad. He's gonna be a good one.

I like Parker the most if I'm drafting an NBA team right now. Kid reminds me of Grant Hill. I have no doubt he could do well in an NBA rotation right meow. Randle reminds me of Z-Bo. Wiggins is definitely the most raw of the group. It was fun to see Smart go buck last night.

--Drew

GMoney said...

I'm still taking Wiggins over all. This reeks of when a few were saying that Melo may go #1 over Bron because he had a great March. No, BRAH, always give me the most talented player/Canadian.

Although idiot Bill Self may ruin him because he's an idiot.

Mr. Ace said...

Smart is the best player in the nation right now. I think Parker is probably the one who could contribute the most in the NBA right now. McGary is still a manchild who is going in the lotto.

I'm pretty sure ISU was actually favored in that game. It was a bad loss because we crumbled down the stretch. But ISU is legit, and the Ejim kid was completely dominating GR3...who I am beginning to fucking hate because he has so match talent but just doesn't have the mentality to dominate. Michigan is a team that will be playing its best ball around tourney time. I'm prepared for the lumps, but Beilein is MY GUY!

I have a bad feeling that Toledo is going to get ran out of the Glass bowl tonight. Hopefully we can keep the run game churning, because if not it will get ugly. Toledo's Frosh RB is sick.

The Iceman said...

"ts' very hard to get minutes as a true frosh under Thad. He's gonna be a good one."

Is it now?

Oden, Conley, Cook, Turner, Koufos, Diebler, Craft, Sullinger...

Ide is making a bad RibFest bet. Remember this day.

GMoney said...

He is also implying that he will be invited back to RibFest. The council is considering a lifetime ban after last year's debacle (the whole leaving his bag in my car thing and then driving around with Dut for hours trying to find me).

I was able to get NIU at -3.5 yesterday instead of the recommeded -4 Glory Hole. I am very happy. NIU wins 59-31.

Anonymous said...

Iceman....

Oden and Conley were top 5 picks...of course they were going to play...and Sullinger to a certain extent was a lotto pick his frosh year as well. You wanna compare Loving to those three?

Cook came off the bench even tho he was a first round pick. Diebler did not play much...Evan Turner almost fucking transferred his first year because of his limited minutes..KoKo played a decent amount, but that team also sucked and he was a 1st round pick. So, basically you have to be a 1st round lock as a Frosh to get burn under Thad. Guys like Buckets, Turner and Buford (definitely more highly thought of than Loving) all struggled to get minutes in their first year.

Yes, well doing a fantasy draft, then going immediately to RibFest when laptops are required is POOR planning when considering I hoofed it all the way from NY. However, that Sunday was pretty ELITE, and inconveniencing you will always brighten my day. Living in Grove City deserves nothing less.

Not that I ever want to have Drouchers back when it comes to Fuckeye arguing, but I think he meant if Sullinger would have came out after his freshman year(which he should have) he was rated to be a lotto pick...which I mostly agree with. There needs to be a Seal/Drew death match/slap fight at Ribfest 3.

Anonymous said...

Slow Seal....do you know what "to a certain extent" means? You fucking retard. Of course, he didn't come out after his Freshman year. It was discussed here ad nauseam that he was stupid not to have left after his Freshman year when he was a lottery lock and then ended up staying...having back issues...and falling into the 20's. So, my point was that he was a lottery talent in his first year which is why he of course played as a true freshman. You have a horrendous reading comprehension ability and are the worst.

Yeah Seal...sorry, man. You're out of your element on this one. It was unanimously believed around the country that Sullinger was a lottery pick after his freshman year. Some were even arguing he would have been the first overall pick. Dumb, I know...but it was still being said. There's no doubt Sullinger would have gone in the first 14 picks.

"Evan Turner almost fucking transferred his first year because of his limited minutes"

So 27 minutes a game is limited? I guess that means Turner is just a selfish cunt if 2/3rds of the game isn't enough minutes for him.

"Diebler did not play much"

Averaged 21 minutes per game as a freshman. So...half the game. Pretty sure he was a starter at one point, too. Yeah. Not much.

Your statement was that it was hard to get minutes as a freshman. Was it not? I simply provided numerous examples on how that wasn't the case...then came the parameters. Just admit I know more about your favorite team than you do.

LOLZ @ Slow Seal somehow trying to flip his moronic statement into something about Buckets. What a sad slow little man.

Iceman....you then started comparing Loving to Oden and Conley....when just last week you said you didn't expect Loving to be much of a college player. Turner and Diebs are a bit of an exception, since they played on the only Thad OSU team not to make te the tourney...except for his first one which wasn't allowed in it. But, yes...they did get some decent burn. Just admit that your high school basketball eyes are probably not very good.

--Drew

The Iceman said...

So here's a fantasy football scenario for everyone. You're in a keeper league and the last place team is tanking their last 3 games to ensure they get the first pick next year. Bullshit or strategy? There is a raging debate happening in one of my other leagues about this.

Anonymous said...

It would depend on your definition of "tanking". As long as the lineup is fully set with players that play, then I'm fine with it...they don't have to make moves to get better. But, if they aren't setting a lineup and stuff...that's complete bullshit.

--Drew

GMoney said...

There is nothing wrong with that since he has a plan for the future and isn't just doing it to be a cockbag.

I did the same thing in my keeper league in which I'm 1-10 even though I'm fifth in points. I dumped Romo, CJ2K, Ridley, AJ Green, Marshall, and Golden Tate and took back some guys on the cheap that I might want to keep next year (like Gio Bernard and TY Hilton each for around 10 bucks). While my team is pretty much a bye week for the rest of the season, I expect to be really good next year. I have a plan to make the best out of an AWFUL year. So does that guy in your league. DEAL WITH IT.

GMoney said...

I'm just happy that Team FagNasty is playing for real starting this week. He will win this year. I'm betting on it.

The Iceman said...

They benched their entire lineup to make sure they accidentally don't win games down the stretch and lose that first pick, Drew. I see nothing wrong with it. If your season is in the shitter I think you're within your rights to make sure a repeat doesn't happen next year by ensuring first pick.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I'm not cool with benching an entire lineup. That's gay.

--Drew

GMoney said...

The funny thing is that even when he was trying, he was losing to everyone so there isn't much difference with what he's doing now. He shouldn't just leave the slots empty though. He needs to have a great lineup like

Derek Anderson
Aaron Hernandez
Tim Tebow
or just a lineup of Jaguars weapons featuring Denard

A team QB'd by Brady Quinn will always be loved.

Brady said...

Benching an ENTIRE lineup is bullshit. You have to at least field a team and put on the mirage of trying to win.

I'm OK with the tanking strategy as long as you have active players at all positions.

Anonymous said...

Agreed Cakes. It's not fair to the rest of the league. All positions should be filled with active players...you can still lose that way, but it's a dick move to leave an entire team empty.

--Drew

Jeff said...

I have heard of leagues that impose fines for last place finishes. The two worst teams are slated against each other the last week of the season in the "Toilet Bowl", while the "Super Bowl" is going on. Loser pays up or is kicked out of the league.

Brady said...

That's pretty badass, Jeff. I like that idea.

Anonymous said...

In our big league, last place has to wear whatever the super bowl winner dresses him in at the draft the following year. We do our draft in public, at a bar, so you do not want to lose. Its pretty hilarious - you do not want last place.

Seal

Anonymous said...

Cakes....

In my keeper leagues for basketball and baseball we have lotteries the next year, so it's never guaranteed that you will get the first pick if you finish last. We also have a "tanking" rule in the baseball league where you actually have no chance in the lottery the next year and automatically get the last pick if you are found to be tanking. In our basketball league you start getting fined for every night that your lineup isn't set after two freebies...with those fines going to the winner of the league.

Fantasy sports is about having competitive fun with your buddies...not tanking and fucking up the competitive balance in the league because you gave up.

--Drew

Anonymous said...

Oh yeah...my baseball league started something similar to Slow Seal's league this year. The person that got in last place has to wear a bikini to next year's draft. This is the first year, but the guy has already bought his bikini.

--Drew

GMoney said...

Yeah, I don't care for worst automatically getting first pick the next year. Iceman is just being niggardly (not correct usage of term but at the same time a very apt description).

Nate said...

Great GIF today.

The Iceman said...

I'm sorry...I just don't see a difference between benching your team and starting guys you know aren't going to play/put up points. The whole idea behind benching your team is to make sure that even if you lose you don't move up in the standings by scoring more points than any other team you may be tied with or close to in the standings. Since points scored is usually the tie breaker if there are any ties in the standings.

I understand the competitive nature of fantasy football. Starting a lineup because it's the right thing to do would be fine if last place isn't automatically first pick and there wasn't money on the line. But almost all leagues both apply. Why would you essentially jeopardize your shot at a better chance to win money the next year by starting a lineup right now in order to not disrupt the competitive balance this year? When you invest money in something, isn't the point to give yourself the best shot at a return on your investment?

Anonymous said...

"Why would you essentially jeopardize your shot at a better chance to win money the next year by starting a lineup right now in order to not disrupt the competitive balance this year?"

I'm in leagues with my friends. We put in tanking rules, because we want the league to be fair. It's not fair when some team has to face a guy that's trying earlier in the year and then later in the year another guy is going against a team that's goal is zero points. I don't see the fun in that league...seems dumb. There aren't millions and millions of dollars on the line like when these pro teams do it...fantasy sports are supposed to be fun...it's more fun when everyone is trying...not when some dude decides he's had enough and doesn't care about the rest of the league.

--Drew

The Iceman said...

"it's more fun when everyone is trying...not when some dude decides he's had enough and doesn't care about the rest of the league"

I agree with that, Drew. But they aren't tanking because "fuck it I don't care any more." They're tanking to have a better shot to be more competitive next year. It's not being done maliciously. You don't think it's fair teams at the end get to play a guy tanking and get handed a free win...but is it fair to ask a guy to give up his chance to get first pick next year when his season is over? If you're handling your business early in the season, what happens with other teams at the end shouldn't matter, right?

Anonymous said...

You fucked it up from the start by guaranteeing that the last place team gets this pick. I don't see why you would encourage that this practice is done....but, that's what that rule did. The argument that "if you took care of your business in the beginning of the year, you shouldn't care" is also dumb...fantasy sports can be a grind to get into those playoffs. You should just have your playoffs right now, if you deem only the beginning of the year to have worth.

--Drew
