Goodbye, K-Farn

I'm trying to hold back tears here, but, Kyle Farnsworth is leaving The Bronx. For some reason, the Tigers wanted him back and gave the Yankees an upgrade at catcher for their trouble.

Pudge (pictured, thanking God to be getting out of Detroit) in Pinstripes for our worst bullpen pitcher not named LaTroy??? Yeah, I'll take it. Another rock solid trade for the underrated Brian Cashman.

Playoffs!

As much as Yankees fans hate to admit it, Farnsworth has been lights out lately. He's only given up a run once since the middle of June. He's also been hitting 98 on the gun recently.

Both teams got better with the trade. The Tigers are in desperate need of bullpen help and this will help.

Say what you want to, Drew, but the heart and soul of your team was just dumped for a pitcher that isn't very good.

Are you kidding? Pudge is nowhere near the heart and soul of the team. Carlos Guillen and Magglio are the leaders on the team. Pudge has never been considered a leader for that team...he keeps to himself.

Stop making up facts like you are Sean Salisbury.

Someone call me when the home run that B.J. Upton hit off Farnsworth lands.
